Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXI
March 28-April 4, 2010
Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup XXXI will feature elite international, national and local boy’s teams. The 2010 tournament field of teams in seven age groups is planned to have 40% international teams, 40% national USA teams and 20% local Dallas Area teams. Games will be played at two different venues. We will use the complex (10 fields) and 21,000 seat stadium at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas which is north of the Dallas metro area. This is the home of the MLS team FC Dallas. We will also use the Richland College complex (10 fields) as in past years that is located in North Dallas. At the request of many college coaches, every attempt will be made to schedule the majority of the under 17 games at one complex. Brackets and Schedules are planned to be available on the website approximately 2-3 weeks prior to the tournament. For the first time in the 31 year history of the Dallas Cup we will have three National teams in the group. The USA, Mexico and Japan will have the teams they have identified as that preparing for the U20 FIFA World Cup in Colombia in 2011. The players are born in 1991 and 1992.
There will be a College Coaches Hospitality Suite in the Tournament Headquarters Hotel, the Crowne Plaza Midway Road-Addison and a Hospitality Tent at the complex. This will be a good time to relax and greet old friends and meet new ones!

Each college coach that has pre-registered on-line will receive a packet that includes a Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup XXXI Official Program, one season pass to all stadium games, an invitation to the Welcome Reception Saturday Evening, a ticket to the Casino Night Thursday Evening, and team profiles of all USA teams (if provided by the team) in the U19, U17 and U16 age groups. Packets may be picked up at the Crowne Plaza Hospitality Suite during the hours of operation posted above.

The Dallas Cup is negotiating a special hotel rate of $99USD + tax per night for the College Coaches at the Hilton Lincoln Center Hotel. The hotel is located at the intersection of I635 and the North Dallas Tollway which is about equidistant from the Pizza Hut Park Complex and the Richland College Complex. There is a very large selection of restaurants in the surrounding area.
