Texas Longhorns Soccer Club
Founding Club of the Dallas Cup
The Texas Longhorns Soccer Club, the oldest select soccer club in the Southwest, was founded in 1968 in Dallas, Texas. In 1980 the Longhorns staged the first Dallas Cup International Youth Soccer Tournament and have been the host club ever since.
The Texas Longhorns Soccer Club was founded with the purpose of bringing together young players of talent, skill, desire, and commitment in a highly challenging and competitive environment and to provide superior training and development opportunities in the technical and tactical aspects of the sport of soccer.
The Texas Longhorns Soccer Club is committed to providing opportunities to showcase prospective college-bound student/athletes, to assist in the education of players and parents in the process of obtaining soccer athletic scholarships, and to support players in their efforts to achieve placement in college soccer programs through the college recruitment system. It is the Longhorns' intent as an organization to promote honor, integrity, teamwork, perseverance, confidence, and sportsmanship both on and off the soccer field.
