Dallas Cup Executive Director Gordon Jago and Tournament Manager Randy Jones are pleased to announce the selection of the Dallas Texans Soccer Club as the Host Club for the Dallas Cup. “We look forward to working with the Texans and all of their parents as we take the Host Club Concept to a whole new level in the coming years” says Mr. Jago. “Beginning with the 2010 Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXI the Dallas Texans will assume many new areas of responsibilities, never before asked of the Host Club, as they work closely with the Dallas Cup staff and Board of Directors to take the operational aspect of the tournament and elements of the “Dallas Is Diversity Program” to new levels” states Mr. Jones.
“We are very excited to be joining the Dallas Cup which is one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in the world. The Dallas Texans will help to make this event an even more enjoyable experience for all of the players from all over the world” says Hassan Nazari, Founder and Director of Coaching for the Dallas Texans.
The Dallas Texans SC will be involved in the massive volunteer corps that makes the Dallas Cup experience what it is by providing new volunteers to form a number of new committees and to augment existing committees which will provide an even better experience for the teams, officials and spectators. The club will also assist with Stadium ticket sales, Official Tournament Program sales and Sponsorship solicitation. These areas of assistance are a major key to the success of the programs (Tournament and Dallas Is Diversity free soccer clinics) put forth by Dallas Cup, Inc. during the course of the year.
