Eintracht Frankfurt Returns for Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXI Super Group!
“Die Adler” Will Also Bring Their Under 15 Team!!!
Dallas Cup Executive Director Gordon Jago is pleased to announce that Eintracht Frankfurt will be returning to Dallas once again to compete in the Super Group and will also bring their Under 15 team to the competition. Tournament dates are March 28-April 4, 2010. In 2009 Eintracht advanced to the semi final round and are looking to improve on that performance this year.
The trip to Dallas will once again be coordinated by Armin Kraaz. “It has become a tradition at our club to take part in the Dallas Cup and we are very grateful that the tournament organizers have continued to extend the invitation to us. The 2010 tournament will be the 6th time for us to again feel the spirit of the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup. It is very important for the players to experience the different football cultures and get used to different referees from around the world. Most important is the opportunity for our players to take part in the HomeStay Program for the 10 days we are in Dallas. Experiencing the hospitality of the local Dallas families and a wonderful cultural exchange make it even better for the players. The tournament is truly a very unique experience.”
“With the addition of Eintracht Frankfurt to the Super Group the group continues to get stronger states Tournament Manager Randy Jones. The group now includes Tottenham Hotspurs (England), Chelsea FC (England), Cruzeiro EC (Brazil), TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (Germany) and the Mexican National Team (91/92). We will continue to make further announcements on additional Super Group teams as details are finalized. Discussions with other top teams from Europe, South America, Central America, Japan and North America continue as we work to complete the Super Group. The Dallas Cup website (www.dallascup.com) will have the latest information as it develops. Check the site frequently for the latest news.”
