Dallas Cup Executive Director Gordon Jago was honored by Queen Elizabeth when her majesty recognized and honored him as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his contribution to football world wide.  This is an honor that will be his forever more and cherished by Gordon, his family and friends.  With all due respect to her majesty, the Dallas Cup Board of Directors recently voted unanimously (and the staff heartily agreed) to rename the Dallas Cup Super Group as the “Gordon Jago Super Group” in his honor.  The Super Group is the most elite age group in the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup and we all think Gordon is the most “elite person” we have ever known and worked with.
